You Can be the Cowboy (or Cowgirl)!

It’s fun to watch a professional rodeo.  If you’ve ever wished you could be one of those cowboys or cowgirls riding a bucking bronco, racing around the barrels, or weaving your horse through the pole bending course, now is your chance (minus the bucking bronco, of course).  We’ll give you the opportunity to try your hand at some of these activities in a safe and fun environment.

Ride ‘em Cowboy!

Learn barrel racing, pole bending, and other fun cowboy games such as calf chasing, donkey relay, and more on a real cowboy ranch in Utah. Young children can even try mutton bustin’. Whether a participant or spectator cheering everyone else on, you’re sure to enjoy yourself during your cattle drive vacation.

    There are many activities outside of the Rockin’ R Ranch to provide you with many memories.
    See a few local non-supervised activities below.

    Fishing

    A few miles from the Rockin’ R Ranch in Antimony, Utah there are streams and a lake for your fishing pleasure. You’ll want to bring your own fishing gear; but we also have gear you can rent at the Front Desk.

    ATVing

    There are many trails near the Rockin’ R Ranch including the ATV Paiute Trail, rated as one of the best trails in the country by Dirt Wheels magazine. Bring your own ATV to explore the beauty of Southern Utah.

    Sightseeing

    The Rockin’ R dude ranch is only 45 minutes north of scenic Bryce Canyon National Park. You’ll want to find time before or after your stay with us to fully explore all this natural wonder has to offer.
