Kids’ Horse Rides

Children need to be at least eight years old in order to go on one of our horseback trail rides in Antimony, Utah. Younger children will enjoy riding horses on an authentic dude ranch while being led around by one of our wranglers. They’ll especially enjoy our petting barn, wagon rides, and making craft projects with old horseshoes and feathers, bandanas, and other fun items. Our treasure hunt helps children explore the Utah ranch in a fun way. Our playground is a popular kids’ attraction and has swings, slides, and a small rock-climbing wall.

Welcome to Cowboy School

Children can participate in many of our activities, doing things they may have only dreamed of. All children’s activities are parent supervised. At times, baby sitters can be arranged in advance, and will cost extra. During our summer months, we offer a program for children age 2 to 7 for 2- to 3-hour blocks of time while parents are riding or participating in activities that don’t include their children. The cost is $25 per child per activity time slot.

    See a few local non-supervised activities below.

    Fishing

    A few miles from the Rockin’ R Ranch in Antimony, Utah there are streams and a lake for your fishing pleasure. You’ll want to bring your own fishing gear; but we also have gear you can rent at the Front Desk.

    ATVing

    There are many trails near the Rockin’ R Ranch including the ATV Paiute Trail, rated as one of the best trails in the country by Dirt Wheels magazine. Bring your own ATV to explore the beauty of Southern Utah.

    Sightseeing

    The Rockin’ R dude ranch is only 45 minutes north of scenic Bryce Canyon National Park. You’ll want to find time before or after your stay with us to fully explore all this natural wonder has to offer.
